Moody Neurorehabilitation Institute is committed to advancing the field of neurorehabilitation and educating the public on traumatic brain injury. We welcome the opportunity to provide members of the media with information, locate experts on neurorehabilitation topics, and schedule interviews.

Requests for Interviews, Photography, and Filming

Any requests for interviews and photographing or filming patients, patient family members, staff, activities, or buildings at any Moody Neurorehabilitation Institute facility must be approved prior to your arrival.

To obtain permission, send an email request at least one week in advance of your planned visit to Tricia Todd.

Requests must be made in writing via e-mail and include:

  • Subject matter and purpose of the interview or photo/film shoot
  • Intended audience and medium
  • Preferred date(s)
  • Preferred Moody Neuro location(s)
  • Names of people you plan to interview, photograph, and/or film
  • Name of the Moody Neurorehabilitation Institute employee(s) who are willing to grant access to their department
  • Name of the Moody Neurorehabilitation Institute employee(s) who will supervise the interview or photo/video shoot
  • An e-mail and phone number for the person making the request

Upon approval of the request, we will provide a standard release form. Media representatives are required to obtain written consent from all individuals interviewed, photographed or filmed, whether or not the resulting is utilized in the final, published product.

We follow all HIPAA laws and guidelines to safeguard patient medical records and personal health information (PHI). Information cannot be provided about a patient’s condition or care without written consent or the written permission of a parent or legal representative.
